Gwendolyn J. Lindsay Cooley

Founder, Taimet

With over twenty years of experience as an antitrust enforcer, Gwendolyn created the idea for Taimet borne from her practice: How could she quickly and effectively analyze mergers up to an extremely high standard? Using her extensive history reviewing merger transactions for anticompetitiveness, and her deep knowledge of the antitrust enforcement community across administrations, she and her co-founder have created a way to analyze complex mergers using artificial intelligence combined with an overlay of practical antitrust knowledge.

Gwendolyn Lindsay Cooley led the state attorneys general nationwide in their antitrust enforcement efforts from 2021-2024, and was Wisconsin’s Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust from 2005-2024. In that time, she investigated hundreds of cases, and reviewed and challenged numerous mergers. Gwendolyn is a prolific speaker on antitrust topics, a sought-after author, and host of the popular podcast “Antitrust 101.”

Gwendolyn has testified before the US Senate about antitrust bipartisanship and has won numerous accolades throughout her career including the 2023 National Association of Attorneys General Career Staff Award and the “Woman Making History” award from Wisconsin Lawyer Magazine in 2024.
